TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS once again supports Dortmund Economic Development Agency’s go-to-market program
Next year, TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS will once again be a partner in the Dortmund Economic Development Agency’s market entry program. The hybrid, two-month program will once again focus on intralogistics, robotics, and automation. It supports foreign scale-ups seeking to enter the German market with their innovations.
Those interested in the program can apply online at https://doaccelerate.de/gateway-dortmund/ by November 30 for one of eight spots. The benefit: Dortmund’s Economic Development Agency covers the costs of the entire program, including all events and coaching sessions, as well as lodging and meals. Participants are only responsible for their own travel expenses.
In principle, any foreign company that is less than ten years old, already has customers in its home country, and whose solutions and products fit into the ecosystem of Dortmund as a logistics hub is eligible to apply. A jury will make the selection in early December. Thematically, the 2027 Go-To-Market Program focuses on key topics in intralogistics, robotics, and automation, such as
- AI, IoT & Digital Twins – Data-Driven Intralogistics
- AMR & AGV – Autonomy in Motion
- RaaS & Retrofit – New Business Models for Robotics
- Adaptive Intralogistics
The core of the hybrid program is the in-person kick-off phase, taking place January 24–27 in Dortmund. After arrival and a dinner on January 24, the program begins the following day with interactive workshops and a tour of the Fraunhofer IML, the Digital Hub Logistics, and the “Center for Logistics and IT.” On the opening day of TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS (January 26), participants will attend a curated program in Exhibition Hall 7: A separate session has been organized for them in the Event Dome. During a guided highlights tour, they’ll learn about international innovations. And at the matchmaking event, they’ll meet venture capital experts, the finalists of the IFOY Start-up of the Year Award 2027, and innovation experts.
What makes this unique is that not only is the TEST CAMP agenda specifically tailored to the target audience, but so are all the coaching sessions, networking opportunities, and tours of local research institutions.
“Anyone looking for a suitable location in Germany in the field of intralogistics and robotics will find ideal conditions in Dortmund. Not only have well-known companies from this sector set up shop here, but with TU Dortmund University, the two Fraunhofer Institutes, and the Digital Hub Logistics, the city also ranks among the top tier of international research. In addition, major conferences and trade shows for the logistics community take place in this Ruhr metropolis. “That’s why TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS is a perfect fit for the city’s market entry program,” emphasizes Thilo Jörgl from the TEST CAMP management team.
“TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS is being held in Dortmund for the seventh time. Thanks to the enormous international reach of the IFOY AWARD innovation prize, it ranks among the most outstanding logistics events in the country. The opportunity for participants in the market entry program to experience and test more than 100 significant innovations right at the start of the year elevates the city’s program to an even higher level,” says Friedrich-Wilhelm Corzilius, deputy managing director of the Dortmund Economic Development Agency.
