TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS: Nine solutions in the special test area Exoskeleton & Co.

  • Suppliers and users will show how employees can be relieved in the warehouse with the help of innovative technologies.
  • B2B visitors can try out lifting and carrying aids for themselves.

(Ismaning / Dortmund, February 22, 2023) In 2023, the TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS at Messe Dortmund will place a new focus on the topic of ergonomics. In the special test area Exoskeleton & Co. on March 29 and 30, users, suppliers and scientists will demonstrate which lifting and carrying aids support employees in the warehouse. The exhibitors in the special test area are: Fraunhofer IML, German Bionic with its solution at Dachser, hTrius together with the Geis Group, Hunic, Japet, NeoLog and Predimo.

In a congress panel on March 30, the exhibitors will also discuss the challenges facing the sector and the solutions that are already making work easier today.

B2B visitors can try out how these solutions feel in practice in the special test area: At two shelf walls, those interested in ergonomics can feel on their own bodies how lifting and carrying aids support the muscles while completing a course. They can have their individual muscle strain measured and, based on the results, receive customized recommendations for action for ergonomically optimized and efficient work processes.

As a special highlight, the exoskeleton area also offers practical experiences from users. Logistics service providers such as the Geis Group will be demonstrating the means they already use to relieve employees in the warehouse.

In addition to the special test area "Exoskeleton & Co.", the TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS has two other exclusive special test areas in store: the AGV Mesh-Up of the VDMA Association for Materials Handling and Intralogistics promises an interactive 5G setup this year. On approximately 500 square meters, automated and autonomous driverless transport vehicles from ten manufacturers will communicate with each other via the VDA 5050 interface, regardless of the manufacturer.

The Order Picker Safari focuses on order picking. Horizontal order pickers from various manufacturers will be available for testing on an area of around 400 square meters.

At the TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS, everything revolves around testing, trying out, driving and experiencing live. When the third round opens its doors at Messe Dortmund on March 29 and 30, 2023, more than 100 innovations, including numerous world firsts, will be available for testing on 10,000 square meters of hall space.
