TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS 2025: New special test area “Warehouse meets Transportation”

(Ismaning/Dortmund, December 16, 2024) What good is the best warehouse automation if it stops at the loading dock? The TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS will open its doors for the fifth time in Dortmund on March 26 and 27, 2025. Among the around 100 selected innovations, visitors can expect a special highlight this year: the new special test area “Warehouse meets Transportation”. On an 800-square-meter demonstration area, technologies and solutions for connecting warehouse and transport will be showcased in a hands-on environment.

The new special test area showcases what is already possible today in terms of digitization, networking, and automation along the transport chain, but also what will be possible in the future,” says Anita Würmser, member of the TEST CAMP management team.

The special test area is aimed at fleet operators and logistics decision-makers from industry, trade, and logistics services who are looking for new approaches.

Companies such as Blickfeld, Cargoclix, CHEP, enabl, Fraunhofer IML, KRONE, TIMOCOM, Ravas, and many others will present practical solutions that make transport more efficient and everyday work easier for dispatchers and drivers. The technologies on display include, among other things, innovative forms of loading and unloading trailers, ramp and yard management, freight measurement, load carrier tracking, intrusion and perimeter protection for critical infrastructures, forklift teleoperation, and the use of AI tools for transport tasks.

Together, the test installations cover the entire value chain between warehouse and transport.

Event for investment preparation

The TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS has established itself as a platform for preparing transformation projects and investment decisions. Each year, around 100 innovations and new developments are presented over an area of 10,000 square meters. Visitors can join highlight tours to get information about exhibitors and their latest products and test the exhibits themselves. The program is further enriched by panel discussions, expert presentations and special test areas such as “Mobile Robotics” and “Machine Vision”.

Participants, primarily executives from retail, industry, and logistics, use the opportunity for intensive exchange with manufacturers and to gain an overview of the current state of technology in the market.

In 2025, TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS will once again host the finalists of the prestigious IFOY AWARD, whose innovations will undergo the IFOY Audit in the hall. For this purpose, test teams, scientists, and the 25 jurors from 18 nations − including editors-in-chief of leading logistics publications − will travel to Dortmund.
