Try out lifting and carrying aids for yourself
In 2023, the TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS at Messe Dortmund will place a new focus on the topic of ergonomics. In the special test area Exoskeleton & Co. on March 29 and 30, users, suppliers and scientists will demonstrate which lifting and carrying aids support employees in the warehouse. The exhibitors in the special test area are: Fraunhofer IML, German Bionic with its solution at Dachser, hTrius together with the Geis Group, Hunic, Japet, NeoLog and Predimo.
In a congress panel on March 30, the exhibitors will also discuss the challenges facing the sector and the solutions that are already making work easier today. B2B visitors can try out how these solutions feel in practice in the special test area: At two shelf walls, those interested in ergonomics can feel on their own bodies how lifting and carrying aids support the muscles while completing a course. They can have their individual muscle strain measured and, based on the results, receive customized recommendations for action for ergonomically optimized and efficient work processes.
As a special highlight, the exoskeleton area also offers practical experiences from users. Logistics service providers such as the Geis Group will be showing the means they already use to relieve employees in the warehouse.
